A statement from Grameen America Inc

Grameen America is a fully independent 501c3 nonprofit organization registered in the United States. All tax deductible payments made by Grameen America to the Clinton Foundation have been solely for standard conference fees to attend the annual Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meetings. Public commitments made by Grameen America at these meetings are announcements about Grameen America's independent program and impact, and have never involved any funding to or from the Clinton Foundation.

Grameen America, a national Community Development Financial Institution, has loan partnerships with a broad number of community-minded national institutions that fund microloans for low-income women entrepreneurs, including the Small Business Administration. See the release attached for an example of the most recent 2016 SBA loan partnership announcement, which will be fully repaid to SBA once the capital is utilized by women in poverty who are building their small businesses.
