Yunus Centre internship program primarily aims to be the centre of social business incubation, where social business ideas are being researched and developed. There are four departments at Yunus Centre that you might apply for an internship: Social Business, International Secretariat, Finance or Administration. The interns will also have the opportunity to participate on a 5 day village exposure trip to broaden their experience.
As a part of its ambition to maintain excellence, Yunus Centre requires the applicants to possess not only above-average academic or entrepreneurial background, but also a demonstrated leadership skill as well as an interest in social business as an investment for the future. The intern will be required to maintain a regular schedule of the local 10am-6pm, Sunday-Thursday office hours and to submit a report to their supervisor upon completion of their internship.
Apart from the internship program, Yunus Centre also offers a chance to be involved in exposure visitors program, which is designed to provide interested applicants an opportunity to learn both social business and microfinance. Unlike internship program, everyone interested in joining the program will be accommodated.
