Hi, I'm Hyein Kim from South Korea.
I'm taking a International Development Cooperation course in University and a few student teams have come up with ideas for social businesses as an assignment in class. The professor will choose the best best team and reward with a seed grant to literally carry out the social business of our own.

What our team suggests is a "Mobile Library" that delivers books around from houses to houses in the village in Afghanistan.
The idea came from acknowledging that even though there are ongoing efforts for education and there are results in enrollment increase, many school-age children are still out of school due to several reasons: insecurity, long distance to schools, limited access to girls, absence of qualified materials, restriction from families-housework, tuition fee. Our Mobile Library solves all those problems.

Mi nombre es Ingrid. Soy de Guatemala, Centro América. He trabajado toda mi vida en periódicos y los voceadores (vendedores de periódicos en las calles) son muy pobres y ese trabajo no les permite mejorar su calidad de vida.
Pienso que los periódicos podrían crear un "social business" contratando gente minusválida y pobre pero logrando que sus ganancias sean lo suficientemente buenas para mejorar.
Si se lograra hacer en un país... todos los periódicos del mundo podrían replicar el modelo.
Pero no sé si es buena idea y no tengo idea de por dónde empezar. Sólo el corazón me dice que puede ser.

Professor Yunus should use his name and connection to set up a manpower export NGO where through his connection can arrange jobs for hundreds of thousands in overseas market. Also, Prof Yunus should undertake a megaproject to rehabilitate rickshaw pullers and find alternative jobs for them. This will change our country for better. I am sure he will be able to arrange finance to carry out this project.
