I'm taking a International Development Cooperation course in University and a few student teams have come up with ideas for social businesses as an assignment in class. The professor will choose the best best team and reward with a seed grant to literally carry out the social business of our own.
What our team suggests is a "Mobile Library" that delivers books around from houses to houses in the village in Afghanistan.
The idea came from acknowledging that even though there are ongoing efforts for education and there are results in enrollment increase, many school-age children are still out of school due to several reasons: insecurity, long distance to schools, limited access to girls, absence of qualified materials, restriction from families-housework, tuition fee. Our Mobile Library solves all those problems.
